I heard they started increasing the censorship because of the amount of foreigners that the Olympics will bring in.
Comiket had terrible censorship this year, too. I’ve just stopped following any publications that whitewash all the best bits, so I’ve only got stuff like X-Eros, Lo and Otokonoko Heaven….
